Bruce is women's health physician, speaker, and author. Bruce has been engaged with the climate crisis since 2007. He currently serves as the Climate for Health Fellow at ecoAmerica, on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Climate Change and Health, and as Chair Emeritus of the Public Health Advisory Council in Southern California.
In 2020, Bruce led the first comprehensive review of climate impacts on births in the United States, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which has been cited over 400 times in peer-reviewed research and is currently referenced in policy documents from the World Bank and the World Health Organization.
An internationally sought-after keynote speaker, Bruce has delivered over 100 talks on the perils and possibilities of climate change. His recent TEDx talk, "The climate crisis isn't your fault— but it is your problem," with 60,000+ views, is a call to action for all healthcare professionals
Kristin is a resident of Del Mar and a Family Physician at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group (SRSMG) where she has practiced for the past 24 years. She trained with ecoAmerica as a climate health ambassador and serves on the Public Health Advisory Council with San Diego's Climate Action Campaign. Kristin co-founded a Climate and Planetary Health Committee at SRSMG to increase awareness and engagement among physicians, staff and patients. She has an active interest in educating her patients and the community about the intersection between the climate, the environment and health.
Adam is a climate and ecological activist and professor of psychology at the University of California San Diego. After a 20-year career in neurosciences, he shifted his teaching and research to the topic of social mobilization. He has been active with the Green New Deal at UC San Diego, which won interim victories for decarbonization in the 10 campus UC system, and with the Power San Diego campaign for not-for-profit public ownership of the local electric grid. He is the author of the book The Climate Crisis: Science, Impacts, Policy, Psychology, Justice, Social Movements, Cambridge University Press 2023.
